About Precious Gems & Metals

Stan Walter started Precious Gems & Metals in 1979.

He's spent nearly 50 years buying and selling gold, silver, coins, and diamonds. For years it was just him. His children joined later, and the one-man shop is now a family operation serving customers across ten states.

Stan's favorite part is the people he meets. At every event he hears the story behind what someone's selling, then helps them decide what to do with it. A few rings or a whole coin collection, we treat you the same: straight answers and payment on the spot.

Stan brings that same outlook to the rest of his life. He's served as a City Councilman and liaison to the local police, a Deacon in the Presbyterian Church, and a longtime member of the Rotary Club. He runs the business the way he's served his community.

We've earned an A+ rating from the Better Business Bureau, but we're prouder of the customers who keep coming back, and the ones who send their friends.
